A Time Apart: Animatic Redo - Introduction

In this clip I have put together my storyboard in attempt to animate and further visualise what I want to do. I realise some transitions don't completely flow but when I begin working in Maya and I have built the scene I can easily experiment with camera shots, movements and transitions more effectively.

The clip ends where the last version of the animatic begins.

Collaboration: Video References and Animatic Stills

Made by Ruth.

Because we couldn't paint onto the video, Ruth painted this still to convey our intentions. This skit is reoccurring throughout our animation so we've only created a reference for the first part, storyboard it's based on below.

Animatic with Narration and Sound

Feedback appreciated especially for sounds/music.

Now that I have my narrator sorted I've put it with the animatic alongside a different music track from that I used in the pitch and like suggested in my pitch feedback put in more sound effects.

Fantastic Voyage: Script + Poem + Animatic (No Sound)

I haven't recorded the poem narrated yet so the timings are out of place but this does a good job visually explaining what I am going to do. I still need to find background music that can run in the background without drowning out the narrator.

Like-for-Like Storyboard Animatic

Today in Simon's Class we took our like for like storyboards and turned it into a storyboard animatic, it was suggested that we take the audio from our chosen clip and include that in the animatic. The original clip is below.

From doing this I learned when I draw keep the boxes 1920 x 1080 and how to use premiere pro to add effects to storyboard panels to explicitly convey different types of shots.
