A Time Apart: Scene 2 Shot 2 V3

I've been working on this shot for a while now in between set modelling, lighting and texturing. It's not quite there yet but I can see I've improved from my previous attempt. As my understanding of animating grows so does my understanding of what I'm trying to tell through it.

So what I'm trying to tell in this shot, Fred is feeling anxious so he doesn't tend to look at his surroundings too much, rather he looks downward, he looks briefly to Doris questioningly. He is a 9 year old kid who doesn't understand anything that's going on, Doris is his only comfort and familiarity, he is dependent on her which I try and show through their hug where he hugs/holds onto her. Doris being 4 years older has a bit more of a clue what's going on and is being more observant of her surroundings. The sound in this shot above the crowd noise you can hear the odd person say "I'll have you for my daughter" "I'll take you for my son", Doris looks down and has a moment where she thinks and becomes disconcerted. The hug also shows how precious her little brother is to her, she doesn't want to part with him so holds him tighter.
