More ideas

1) When the poem is complete, thinking about how I might start the animation visually I'm thinking maybe some fun motion graphics in Dr Seuss's style and style font. (I'm not posting the video that the screenshots are from because the lyrics aren't something I want on my blog).

2) Or because looking over my audience research, they like social media and texting a lot so maybe I could animate a phone screen, sending animated stickers, and send a video which opens up fullscreen and goes from there. 

 

3) Or a Facebook timeline like in the video below but in mine a video on the timeline opens up full screen on "it's amazing you'll see". But maybe I shouldn't because that's so not Dr Seuss.
