Toolkit 2 Submission Post


Pipeline 1: Jet Pack Jones (Completed up to Texturing Part 3 - Rivets)

Character Design Production Bible - The Nervous Knight (Updated)

After receiving feedback on my character bible, I revisited it and made some improvements which include: changes to the Knight's structural issues, (I made his neck thicker to support the head and helmet), I also made his cape a lot shorter so the silhouette around his legs aren't swamped. I revisited the Beast, still not in as much detail as the Knight but did make improvements and tested out different poses to make the Beast look more aggressive and intimidating. Lastly I revisited the storyboard to build more tension.

Toolkit 2: Sculpting - Lesson 5

Today was the last sculpting session, it's been fun and I'm mostly pleased with my sculpture except for the hair - it looks more like dreadlocks than anime hair to me, I plan to work on this more before baking it. I'll fix the hair by putting more clay to fill the harsh gaps/deep lines also I need to make the fringe come away from the head so it's not stuck to it.

Toolkit 2: Sculpting - Lesson 4

In today's session I sculpted a skullcap to work out the hair line and began to add depth and volume. I still have a lot more hair to add and smoothing out to do which should hopefully be done by the end of next week's session.
