A Time Apart: Set Modelling Progress - The House

Today so far I've been modelling the main set - the Yorkshire house, here's what I've got so far, there's still more to model in addition to the interior, as I'm modelling the set I'm beginning to realise some of the changes I need to make again to my story in order to get this film made on time.

When Rosa arrives to rescue Fred, there's a shot where we see outside the house and Rosa looks to Doris as if to say "Is this the place?", I'm mainly modelling this exterior set to cater that specific shot. Below is the shot I intend to have, either side of the house will be a tree with a sky matte painting to fill the gaps.

I looked at the house in Pixar's 'Up' to see what they've done to complete the shot with just the house as the focus, I noticed that around the house itself isn't an awful lot, there's the bushes, the front grass, gates and a pavement - everything behind that in my case would be a matte painting.
Concept Art from Premise Project that set is based on.
At the moment I plan on using this set as well for Doris's search montage, each time she knocks its the same model with different textures and weather conditions - what's behind her will also change - I'll figure how I'm going to jump that hurdle better when I get there.
