- Hyperrealism is a reality that’s more real than real, everything is much more enhanced to the point it meets our desires more than reality can making hyperreality more inferior to regular, more plain reality. It is the inability to distinguish what is real and what is not.
- Simulacra is a sign that’s lost its relation to reality, it is an imitation of a person or thing.
- Simulation - The process in which a representation of something comes to replace the thing that is actually being presented, the representation becomes more important than the real thing.
- Fake news is a type of journalism or propaganda that consists of deliberate misinformation or hoaxes spread via traditional print and broadcast news media or online social media. Fake news often employs eye-catching headlines or entirely fabricated news stories to increase readership, online sharing and Internet click bait. Fake news is written and published with the intent to mislead in order to damage an agency, entity, or person, and/or gain financially or politically, often with exaggerated, or patently false headlines that grab attention. Intentionally misleading and deceptive fake news is not satire or a parody which is intended to humour rather than mislead its audience.
