Cell Movements Test

Before moving on to making the other phases, I've started with Telophase and Cytokinesis because in that scene there are 2 different cell shapes.

From the playblast below I'm liking 4) Flare, it's subtle and makes the cell look alive.
For telophase I'm thinking it should match the individual cells so I'm staying away from stillness and subtle rotation - going with 6) squash and stretch, because it looks like it's pulling apart.

1) Squash and Stretch. 2) Subtle Rotation. 3) Still. 4) Flare.

5) Rotation. 6) Squash and Stretch. 7) Flare.

  1. Yep 4 is good for 'breathing' and 'pulsing' . Maybe for the moment before the cells snap apart you need to sort of build up the movement, so from something subtle to a bit more exaggerated, as if the cells are working up to dividing?

  2. Yeah - number 6 is squash and stretch that will build up to the dividing once it has, number 4 calmer breathing pulsing happens fading out to reveal more cells around it.
