Talking to Jordan

Explaining my idea, showing fonts and colour schemes library he really likes my idea. What I need to focus on is maintaining that famous Dr Seuss unique line art, make my work feel not so digital but papery which I can do by taking a paper texture off google images and using blending modes on top of it - this will maintain the nostalgia we connect to those books.

Thinking about how I can make this work in maya I could use animated textures like in the example below, using rigs on 2D planes. (Skip quite ahead in the video). But how I would do it is layer planes of details in the cell but when you look at it in the camera it will look like one layer, also in the animated texture redraw circles on top of each other to give that movement so it's not till like a page.

Jordan's composition test.

It was mentioned because I want to do 2.5D/pop up style, maybe have some signs.

To do:
  1. Line art test of cell.
  2. Composition thumbnails.
  3. Drop shadows on titles?

Talking about my under the microscope test, I will need to do experiments to see how I can work this into the Seuss style by applying paper texture via a blending mode or applying a cutout filter to it all.

Also looking at my Mitosis map thumbnails we decided on thumbnail 3 and scrapping the whole cell map and focus exclusively on Mitosis.
