Initial Ideas

Idea 1: Educational video storytelling Mitosis in Dr Seuss style in 2.5D, voice over narrative with rhythm and rhyme. Starts with the world map is the cycle, like a projector from the center is a cell and simply explain parts of the cell, go back to the map and zoom in to the Mitosis part of the cycle.

World map (but mine will be more visually exciting)

Idea 2: Have a gaming format, that when you reach each stage like at a checkpoint of something in a game you have the simplistic version then a 3D in depth version of what it looks like without it cramping the world's style, (like the orange and blue circle in the game screenshot below), the orange would be information bubbles and the circle next to it will illustrate what it is firstly simply then 3D.

Idea 3: Because surrealism serves me well I want the whole thing to be very surreal so I may have characters in there - Dr Seuss's thing 1 and thing 2 characters remind me or chromosomes and the green eggs from Green Eggs and Ham remind me of cells so already I have inspiration and influence. The world within the body where the cells live will be very surreal and that's where I'll set the animation, there a story: Horton Hears a Who which has a relatable concept, an elephant named Horton hears a tiny noise only he can hear, it's the Whos on Whoville, an entire world on the spec of a wishing flower.

In the trailer below I have inspiration from how I can transition from the world map into the world where Mitosis takes place.
