12 Principles of Animation: Straight Ahead and Pose to Pose

Straight ahead animation is where you don't plan anything after the first drawing, just go straight ahead and draw.

Pose to pose is the opposite to straight ahead, you plan after the first drawing, what pose will go on which frame and then draw the in between frames/poses after. I used the pose to pose principle when doing the morphing exercise, I planed when and which frame the face would morph into a chocolate bar.
